Re: Dark Nights: Death Metal | It ALL Matters
Well for starters, the Batmobile monster truck that Bruce is driving on the cover is another Dark Multiversal Dark Knight. The issue itself will have Diana's team meeting up with the JSA, including Alan Scott, Dr. Fate, Wildcat, and Jay Garrick. The issue will involve a trip to the Arkham Wastelands...

Re: Harley quinn tv show
I think BM/WW will be fine regardless of how big the fandom gets. It already gets plenty of shit flung its way and stereotyped as unreasonable and uncompromising (I think the worst I ever saw was years back with Yale Stewart's JL8, when people absolutely PILED on BM/WW because of a couple of jokes)...

Re: Harley quinn tv show
Yea, I completely get your point. You think the relatively obscure nature of BM/WW ensure that most fans are somewhat more pleasant and that once it hits the mainstream things will change. I somewhat disagree, as you pointed out some fandoms manage to remain pleasant even though they are popular an...

Re: perfect villian for a wonderbat team up
Funny enough we have seen Bruce hit on Diana as Bruce Wayne before. Rucka wrote him biding for a date with her in his second run and he did it in the classic Brave and the Bold. I like when we see more Bruce Wayne. I like when we see him go to charities and race cars and stuff. I would like to see ...

Re: Dark Nights: Death Metal | It ALL Matters
I've always felt that continuity is very over rated. Sure for some stories it fits but if your trying to tell a different story from time to time having a variable continuity would be nice. Plotting out a one year arc for ONE character is hard. Imaging trying to do that for like 5 years!!!! And mul...

Re: Dark Nights: Death Metal | It ALL Matters
It's not just the same face syndrome though, it's how artist dipicts different body types and levels of athleticism. Some variety would be good it would go a long way in making the characters different. I guess personal preference comes in and not everyone will agree what certain character should l...

Re: perfect villian for a wonderbat team up
Sign me up for any story that has Bruce working undercover as rich guy Bruce Wayne. Imagine people seeing Bruce Wayne trying to sleazily flirt with Wonder Woman and getting shot down by her. I see lots of potential in a set up like that.

Re: What writer do you think would do wonderbat the best
Yeah that's 100% true. A writer who really gets Diana and Bruce will get what makes the two works together. That's why writers like Rucka, Jimenez, and even Snyder would be great picks I think. That's why even when writers are not particularly fond of BMWW, or are even trying to do it, they still en...

Re: Dark Nights: Death Metal | It ALL Matters
"Same-face syndrome" I believe it's called. Yeah drawing faces is not easy, which is why I appreciate the effort that Capullo puts into his Diana. On Diana's height, I personally prefer her to be 5'11~6'00, tall but not as tall as Bruce or Clark. I think Diana should be tall compared to the average ...

Re: Harley quinn tv show
Oh I certainly agree. As I've said, BMWW non-obvious nature seems to attract a more reasonable kind of fans, those who're willing to think a bit deeper about the characters and how they connect together. However, what I'm saying is that once BMWW becomes a thing and people see two hot characters bei...

Re: perfect villian for a wonderbat team up
Honestly ? At this point I don't think Catwoman can even be seen as a legitimate villain anymore (she's not a legitimate hero either). I feel it will take years of work from DC for readers to be able to see her as anything more than a love interest. I don like the idea of WW and BM villains teaming ...

Re: What writer do you think would do wonderbat the best
Welcome back. I'm glad to see an old face popping up, seeing how It has been awful quiet around here lately. I've been missing the more active days of the site around the time I joined a few years ago. I know DC hasn't given us much to talk about for the last few years, but I'd still hate to see the...

Re: Harley quinn tv show
I had the misfortune of getting into the shipping sphere around 2016, when DC Rebirth was just starting out and DC was just getting done tearing the New 52 to shreds (or at least it seemed that way to some people). I pretty much witnessed the torch passing from the SMWW to the BatCats as the absolut...

Re: What writer do you think would do wonderbat the best
Chaosmob, is that really you ? Has it been a minute since you've last been on here or what ? Yeah I'm ready for all those JL/JLU fans to start taking over DC and WB right about now. DC's editorial seems infested with anit-BMWW, silver age fanboys, but WB seems slightly better about it. The firing of...

Re: Dark Nights: Death Metal | It ALL Matters
Diana looks gorgeous in this book. Capullo's Diana strikes the perfect balance between looking kind and approachable, while still looking mature and with striking features. I find that many artists tend to give Diana rounder and softer features just to achieve the same effect, but ends up making her...

Re: What writer do you think would do wonderbat the best
Snyder would certainly be a great choice going by how he wrote the two previously in stuff like Metal, Last Knight on Earth, and now Death Metal. One thing is clear, and it's the fact that Scott loves writing Diana and Bruce together in general, and he's gone on record saying that he wouldn't mind d...

Re: perfect villian for a wonderbat team up
Duh, Ra's would be a perfect pick for a WW/BM villain story how did that not occur to me ? Yeah I can definitely see a Ra's story working out very well. Ancient order of warriors with penchant for swords sounds like a good fit for a WW villain. Funny how I've always thought that Talia can be a great...

Re: perfect villian for a wonderbat team up
Doing a James Bond-esque story with Bruce is always a good idea in my book. As someone who believes that the "Bruce Wayne" part of Bruce is criminally underutilized, I'd love to see more of that side getting explored. It could work especially well with Diana in her "Diana Prince" civilian identity. ...

Re: Harley quinn tv show
I wish they just make a ship book for each faction then everyone would be happy and tptb would make lots of money. But that just makes to much sense so it will never happen. Or they other shipping groups will be scared one would become the dominant one and guess which one the one that they never le...

Re: Why Warner and DC Wanted (and still want!) to BURY the SNYDER CUT
From what I understand, any investment in the Snyderverse will be restricted to HBO Max. The big screen will take a different direction, something the recent Michael Keaton rumors seems to be pointing to. Batfleck is done as far as the movies are concerned, Battinson will have his own trilogy, and t...
