I'm amazed that you could get it to work on the PC.
Only real issues I've had are frame rate drops and freezing (not the CTD kind yet) but that's to do with the Batmobile otherwise the game runs fine for me at least.

I've just heard how bad the port was. Hope it works well for you.

Steam version worked just fine on my PC.

Early pirated version was horribly unstable on the same machine.

After playing some more playing I've noticed it's actually more to do with loading hence why I noticed it more in the Batmobile then when gliding which I started to notice when I got the upgrades for the grapnel.

If they wanted to do a Flash or Superman game they'd need to fix that.

I have a weird question. I have an idea for a character I'm writing to forge himself a sword. It takes place in basically a modern day superhero world. Said character is big and superhumanly strong, so I want said sword to be fantastically big (think Cloud's Buster Sword or Guts's Dragon Slayer) and I was also thinking having him forge it out so some cool metal. I originally was going to have it be deteriorated uranium because its really heavy, but my research has shown me that it is also soft like lead. Anyone have any ideas for a kind of exotic metal that would fit? I know I could just make something up, but I'm curious if there are any real world examples that would fit this.

Modern APFSDS rounds (the ones made for pucnhing holes through tanks) are made from tungsten (alloy).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tungsten

The reason for this is that they are incredibly hard and dense, meaning they retain their shape when colliding with less hard or dense materials at high speed.
This is highly simplified, though. At high velocity/energy impacts, tungsten projectiles do actually deform and mushroom, but they will retain their projectile shape, whereas hardened steel will shatter like glass and softer metals like lead and copper will flatten like a pancake, even partially "evaporate" at high enough velocities.

At the same time, tungsten is also brittle so a sheet of tungsten will shatter, where as a sheet of steel (not (as) hardened) will have a hole punched through and deform around it, but won't shatter.

DU is also used to make APFSDS rounds, but most nations keep them on the backburner due to health hazards.
Don't let the "depleted" fool you, that just means it radiates less, not doesn't radiate at all.

Also, radiation is a state of excitement/energy, meaning that any projectile made of this material is "depleted" only while it is inert. During firing and impact, energy is infused into the material, making it more radioactive. At least those are some of the claims and rationalizations I've heard to explain why there are so many deformed children and livestock being born in areas where these munitions have been used, so I could be wrong on that one.

Thing is, a normal sword needs to be both hard and flexible, which is why steel is such a popular choice, because it is a strong material that can be worked with relatively easily, yet complex enough to make a wide variety of weapon types with different properties.
That said, when you are making something as absurd as a Buster Sword or the Dragon Slayer, you don't expect it to be flexible, but you have to take care that it isn't brittle.

Anyway, that's my semi-layman opinion on the matter, so take it with the appropriate grain of salt.

Obsidian maybe but it is brittle.

Carbon fiber is actually like new and improved steel in terms of durability and light weight, but it is difficult to machine. Types of steel and aluminum are used commonly because they’re usually more in tensile strength or ductility than brittle materials like cast iron. Tensile and ductile materials will usually strain a lot before failing or breaking whereas brittle materials just suddenly snap and break. However brittle sometimes can be heavier and harder. A cast iron rod can hurt more than a steel rod same size. Ductility and tensile strength are valued more in civil and mechanics engineering because you can get warning sign when it’s about to fail versus brittle.

Depends if you want it hard and brittle or durable and tough

Meh. Looks more like someone trying to remake Aliens than a Doom movie. Just try and do the small things, green armor, try and replicate the weapons, make it seem like you give a damn. Also if you're gonna turn the Doomslayer into a woman, do you have to make her the smallest woman you can find? Tall and buff women are not impossible to find.

That all rests on the assumption they are trying to make a decent movie, when to me it looks like they are just making something so they don't lose the license and want to ride the video game hype as well as the gender controversy to a few more tickets.

I looked up the meaning of the song Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash and found there some elaborate yarn about how his wife wrote it for him inspired by a phrase she read in a book or something.

Honestly, it always sounded like a very basic metaphor for sex to me.

Holy hell, MK11's woke levels are off the chart.
It started with the blatant and admitted anti-sexual female character redesigns, went up to Jax rewriting history so that american slavery never happened and now Netherrealm have banned the OK symbol because of the White Power hoax.

What the fuck is going on in tje world?
God I hope Netherrealm crashes and burns like Star Wars from this.

To quote one of our favourite villains:

The only redisign I've seen so far that looks bad is Shiva's and she's not even playable. She looks like a completely different person though. Jax's thing was his ending in the "Klassic Tower" and while it wasn't good, it was better than his daughter's, which was just plain stupid. The stuff about banning the OK symbol is the dumbest damn thing I think I've ever heard, and I've heard some really stupid things. The games not bad, it just needs to fix the "Time Towers" and do something to ease the grind of progression, which from what I hear they plan on doing.

With my 12 hour work+commute a day and my son, my gaming available time has been cut down to next to nothing.

I am managing to play Chrono Cross on my ROG phone via epsxe.
Damn is it good and glorious.
I miss they glory days of JRPGs.
