Calling it a 'collapse' is perhaps not the appropriate way to reffer to it. Looks more like a market correction to me, evwn if it was prompted by a malicious speculative attack.
What happened and the nehind-the-scenes are quite fascinating.
The new seasons of The Orville and Stranger Things have been pretty good so far, if you're still looking for good entertainment.MTVCCVC wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 11:41 amThe new season of Shield Hero kind of sucks...
The main character is not nearly as likeable as he was last season and the plot is kind of dumb.
It starts with fighting the spirit tortois, then reveals a hidden bad guy behind it, now they are in a new world, split up and have to regain their strength back from scratch...
I don't like it. I get the video game reference, but frankly, it feels like retreading ground and spinning in circles.
I'm probably gonna watch it to the end, but i'm not liking where this is going.
Thus far, this hasn't been a very good year for me when it comes to entertainment.
I've barely cared to watch or read a few things and of what i have watched or read most has been a disapointment and Kenobi has been a travesty.
The only winners have been Spy x Family, My dress-up Darling and Reacher (thanks again, Grendle).
I'm dreading season 3 of The Boys, honestly.
I'm interested in the Orville, but not sure my wife would be. Never got into the Stranger Things thing. Watched the first season and was not really hooked.
How many episodes are out by now?Lordfrieza wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 6:37 pmSo far Season 3 of the Boys is pretty decent. I'm liking that they've got the point where Homelander starts losing his shit. Not sure what to make of the Butcher part of it, but eh, it's not bad so far. Looking forward to tomorrow to seeing another three episodes.
My brother and I just watched through all of SpyXFamily, and I really liked it.MTVCCVC wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 5:31 pmJust watched episode 12 of Shield Heroand I'm guessing that'sit for this season.
Eh, it had some high notes, but as a followup to season 1, it kind of sucks. Average at best and it felt a little threadbear.
The pacing could have been spread out a bit more and the content and context could have been fleshed out more.
I'm guessing that was a result of the contraction to the 12 episode standard length now. Last season was 24 I think.
In any case, rather disappointing. Average, at best. Not worth watching unless you liked season 1 and want a bit more.
Spy X Family is great. I watched it all and now i'm waiting for the dub to cover the full season, so i can watch it with my wife.
