It just occurred to me that prehistoric man was able to somehow defeat massive hairy super elephants with pointy sticks, and midlevel Vikings were somehow able to fight and defeat even bigger whales on rickety wooden boats with pointy sticks, and yet modern man was unable to defeat emus with the advantage of modern firearms.

I don't think prehistoric man was able to kill that many wholly mammoths and they probably did it in large groups using traps of some sort. Emus are fucking fast and require more precision, though the smartest thing to do is heard them into a small pen and kill them there.

Hell, exterminating cockroaches can be a pain to the poibt that employing Exterminatus feels like a reasonable response.

Side note, do you guys ever get that feeling after driving down the autobahn for a few hours that when you finally get to where you are going and have to drive at normal city speeds, it's as if you are barely crawling?

Saw that today. Yep. Except for GOT, I was a fan of all of them. Add in the slow painful death of American Superhero comics, and the last few years have been kind of hard on me, entertainment wise.

I've been using Brave browser for well over a year now and i highly recommend it.

The devs are ex-Moztila people, however, it is Chromium based. Its main claim to fame is an integrated and easy to use (and not use) ad-blocker and script blocker.
That alone makes the websites load faster, when they can't scan every cookie you collected the moment you log onto the domain.

It has some crypto integration, but most people shouldn't really give a damn about it. It is completely optional and you have to intentionally actovate it, it doesn't start with it after instalation and first run.

I use it on my PC and Android smartphone, i know it can be installed on LinuxMint and Ubuntu through the app installer and I'm guessing it's available on apple devices.

God, I wish it was warm enough to do what the song advocates, but it's still cold af in my little patch of the Earth.

Another long ass winter lasting basically into summer, just like last year...

So random Moment. I'm desperately wanting to write a Spider-Man 4 Script for the Raimiverse Spider-Man, and then see if I could find a way to pitch it to Sony. The problem is that what I have in my head would more or less be a four hour movie, at the very least, and I know it can't be that long. Still, it would have what I think would be the best version of Kraven brought to the big screen.

Three act structure, man. It's the standard for a reason. Figure out what you want to happen in the first act, what needs to happen in the second, and what that leads to in the third. Trim all that distracts from that.

Those of you who have been around for a while might remember that one music video i shared from a rock band that comes from my childhood hometown.

I've recently been going through my some of my albums i hadn't listened to in a while and stumbled onto this one.

It's a song about returning home and how there's no place like it on Earth.

The music video itself was filmed around my childhood hometown, so you can get a feeling where I come from. :music:

No. I found out one of the crew is Khan's granddaughter, and I immediately just wrote it off. It's obvious that it's written by the same idiots who wrote the last few crap Trek shows, so it's just gonna be more of the same.

"Is there anything more depressing than dating in your 30s?"

I could peobably think of a few things and Marvel Phase 4 would be pretty high up there...

So, they're going to go super Woke with She-Hulk huh? I might give it a try, I mean I liked the character back in the day, but we'll just have to decide.
