OLIVER, LANCE AND TEAM DEAL WITH LAUREL’S DEATH – Oliver (Stephen Amell) and the team struggle to come to terms with Laurel’s (Katie Cassidy) death, especially Diggle (David Ramsey) who is overwhelmed with guilt for choosing to believe Andy (guest star Eugene Byrd) had changed. Meanwhile, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) refuses to believe his daughter is really gone and asks Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) to help bring her back. A recent Black Canary sighting in Star City only seems to prove his theory that Laurel isn’t actually dead.

Seriously fuck this show. First season was meh, second season was great, third had a few misfires and bad executions but still redeemable in some areas. This season has a potential to be good too but they seem to only care about this damn relationship.

Reasons for not killing the below from the Arrow writer.
Diggle

Truth be told, if we were to have killed off Diggle, it would have had a massive effect on everybody, and it certainly would have had a huge effect on Oliver the most because this really started with Oliver and Diggle. Diggle was on board with Oliver's crusade since episode four of season one and that's the relationship that goes back the longest as far as superheroes are concerned and this crusade of Oliver's… One of the things that we have to ask ourselves is: Is this particular death coming at the right time? And in the case of Diggle, it feels like we had a bit more story to tell with Diggle, and we weren’t prepared to trade away those stories.

Lance

If were to kill off Lance, we'd basically be losing one of only two non-superheroes on the show who are regulars, with Felicity being the other one. Felicity is also member of Team Arrow, so [if we killed either of those characters] we'd be losing the one non-superhero or non-member of Team Arrow. Do we want to go forward without those tools in our tool-belt?

Reminds me of the backlash of How I Met Your Mother and the creators squirmed to try to defend their actions. You can argue Laurel next to Thea is the most important relationship in Oliver's life.

Basically with Felicity they have tried to make a spice and entree. A little spice goes a long way. Felicity was good as the quirky awkward computer wiz. She was the light character among the all the serious/dark characters. Of course she stood out, like cinnamon in a cup of coffee. But too much and your choking and your coffee in undrinkable and sorry Arrow was barely watchable for me and now I just don't care anymore.

But seriously it took me two seasons to like the show and it went off the rails. I'm probably not going to bother watching next season

Only started watching the show because of crossovers with Flash and the set up of Legends of Tomorrow. Now the show is not worthy of my time.

I kinda want arrow to go the angel way and have kassidy return but as laurel lance from another universe So she could be dead but not. Since in angel one of the main character dies and has her body taken over by a God so she was back same actress but different,

The show just alienated fans of Season 1-2 to appease people who only started watching the show for Season 3.

Seriously, I feel like only reason Olicity is popular is fangirls living out their own fantasies of the good looking superhero going for the nerdy girl.
