Funny how people deluded themselves into thinking that Geoff Johns cares about the good ol' DC days, when in truth everything he does is always full of melodrama and gore. Hell, Johns himself is always condemning this type of thing - remember all the Rebirth press-coverings? - despite always pulling crap like this.

great to angsty without the levity from the original 80's comic run or the original teen titans cartoon. Man they mess up more easily. It is a miricale they found donner on superman in the first place Timm and Dini in animation and Nolan on the bat films or Jenkins on Wonderwoman

Aside from Robin, Hawk & Dove, the other character designs look like it was inspired by some high school drama project.

Don't even get me started on the cgi. Man this is one godawful trailer. Pretty bad when this show is the frontrunner for DC's own version of netflix.

Because it's CW, cheap drama for 15 years old girls who have Instagram is more important then comic book accuracy or quality. They manage to ruin Arrow which after 2-nd season was by far the best comic book TV show! Netflix in other hand is doing great job in terms of bringing Marvel comic book character into live action. In the case of WB/DC situation got worse after Nolan's trilogy, after it DC decided that his all universe must be like Nolan's nuar Bat-verse which is utter bullshit, Flash, WW and Shazam aren't
nuar characters. It just so sad, cus DC has more interesting characters and stories than Marvel.

So while I haven't watched the Donna episode (or any other Titans episode for that matter), I've been seeing some images floating around of a young Donna and Dick waiting in a room while Diana and Bruce are allegedly "talking" in another room...........Does that mean WonderBat is confirmed in Titans ?

But seriously it's hilarious how Diana and Bruce are like parents letting their kids play together while they attend to business. I love it when the WonderFam and the BatFam are interacting so it was cool to see this scene included.

On a side note, the actress they got to play Donna is really gorgeous. She exude warmth and compassion. Very fitting for Donna. Really well cast. Hope the writing is up to par.

Donna was great and Dick really needed her. I love that they are best friends and you can tell they are really close and she understands him like no one else. Conner Leslie is perfect casting as Donna. She just conveys the essence of the character. Between this episode and how she was written in the last issue of Titans I am a happy fan.

Also the episode doesn't imply Wonderbat just that Bruce and Diana work together in the Justice League. The seen was just establishing that Dick and Donna have been close friends since they were kids.

I know that there was nothing WonderBat related in the episode, I was just joking about it. Although Diana and Bruce getting together in what I assume to be the Wayne Manor to discuss League stuff is a pretty odd choice, as that implies a kind of closeness between the two that the comics rarely acknowledge.

Donna is using the lasso and she is totally fierce. They completely cast her right. Can't wait for the next episode.

Damn Donna looks amazing. Their take on her seems like it was copy pasted from DCEU's WW though, as I don't remember Donna's lasso glowing a golden hue. Still it looks great. I really should start watching this as I've been hearing nothing but good things about it.

I really depends on which era of comics that you read in regards to Donna's lasso. Originally is was exactly the same as Diana's. Later on some artists would draw it as being silver and sometimes she would have no lasso or weapons just the bracelets. But her having a golden glowing lasso is found is the comics especially early New Titans (before the Crisis). In some old, original Teen Titans books she could even control it with her mind.

Yeah you're correct. I thought about it after and realized that Wonder Girl's lasso was golden as well. I'm too used to Donna's "Troia" persona, who only ever used a silver lasso I believe, and that's the version they based Titans' portrayal of Donna on.
