Re: Witcher. Netflix series.
We watched the first 2 episodes of season 2. well, I did. the wife was so tired she fell asleep at the begining of episode 2.
Anyway, I have to say I like it a little better than season one, just by these 2 episodes. I think the focus on monster hunting and Geralt and Ciri is simply more compelling.
Frankly, the Yennefer parts I don't really find that interesting. Her story should be interesting, but I just can't get into it.
The actress still looks like a child to me, way too young to be taken seriously and when she swears (and she says "fuck" a lot) it comes off as silly and childish.

Re: Witcher. Netflix series.
If every person on that hell continent is gonna be a completely irredeemable asshole outside of Geralt and his close personal friends, then they can stop spending half the fucking season following them. Going into the season the elves had a lot of sympathy going for them, do to how they were treated by humanity and just the history of all the bad stuff that has happened to them, and by the end of season 2 I was like, "Actually yeah, wipe all the knife ear bastards out." Because now I'm positive that if the shoe was on the other foot and elves were the ones on top, they would be at LEAST as horrible to humans if not worse.
Also there is the problem that the show has far too little Geralt given that it is called "The Witcher". He's a supporting character in his own show, and all I want to see is more Geralt fighting monsters!
