Re: Ashless Evil Dead?!?!
There is nothing more wrong than leaving out the chosen one. These other characters are going to be fodder and nothing else. Ash is the only one chosen to defend the human race from the terrors of the deadites... Which... Since he is the savior of the human race... Why aren't we dead already? Naw kidding. Ash is the ultimate badass when it comes to deadite slaying. It's alright if they make an Evil Dead like movie, but for my own entertainment I'll stick with the Army of Darkness Comics. I gets my Ash fix there. Hopefully they'll get Ash back to Shelia before too long. The two of them was finally married, and he had to leave that time in order to save her. Quite sad...

Re: Ashless Evil Dead?!?!
Really if the make a good movie the only problem is that they are going to be calling it Evil Dead. Then again I think they could make a good Alien movie without Ripley, but I think thats because the Alien movies are based around the monsters where as the Evil Dead Movies/Games/Comics/Novel? are driven by Ash Williams. Unless he's in their to sort of pass on the torch (I totally see him as a strange yet badass shop teacher) I don't see how this is going to work.

It would have to be something to tie into Evil dead. They barely changed the name of 'Drag me to hell' before they launched it. It was going to be called 'Evil Dead/Gypsy Curse'. They decided that even though a deadite like being was going to be in the movie it wouldn't be best to call it Evil dead without Ash around. I'm sure the movie (unless it deals with the Necronomicon Ex Mortis) will have a name change. That or it will be the dead attempting to rewrite history so that Ash is never at the cabin. (Thus causing him to lead an existance similar to his Earth 2149 counter part Ashley G. Williams.)
It wouldn't be that far off really to think about it. Still it doesn't seem right to have an ED movie without Ash in it. Especially since ED IV (What we've been promised) is suppose to be centered around Ash as an older man. (Or at least that is what I've read in the official 'leaked rumors')

Batman—Having the word "Wonder" in your name might seem egotistical to some. Having watched Wonder Woman in action...I'd call it modesty.

Sorry, Isis, but I found it funny too
My atheist bones are going to Hell...
No Ash, means no Bruce Campbell (my second favourite Bruce) and that just not right.

Re: Ashless Evil Dead?!?!
well has anyone seen Evil Dead the remake?
from what iv heard ash does appear once
edit:
At a WonderCon panel in March 2013, Campbell and Alvarez stated that their ultimate plan was for Alvarez's Evil Dead 2 and Raimi's Army of Darkness 2 to be followed by a seventh film which would merge the narratives of Ash and Mia
