I don't really have an order, my favorites are the Left 4 Dead series, Resident Evil 2 and 4, and Undead Nightmare (an awesome add on for an awesome game). Dead Island had potential but the storyline sucked hard, its close quarters 1st person view combat system needed work, and they needed to work on making you care about the world you were in. It does get points for putting Jason Voorhees in though, nice Easter Egg.

I just got into this new one called DayZ, its a mod for a PC game called Arma II and you can find its website at http://www.dayzmod.com/. Anyway its pretty awesome in that you get loaded into a 224 square kilometer map and they have relaistic day and night cycles. You essentially have to run around looking to salvage gear from towns in order to survive since bullets, food, water, medicine are all limited and required on a consistent basis. Zombies naturally are crawling all over these places so its not to easy to get in and get the stuff you want without some planning, and when its night time its downright dangerous.

The biggest aspect of the game that makes it interested is that its Multiplayer and that it has about 49 other players on a server. These people can either help you or kill you and steal your stuff so it adds a real walking dead kind of feel to the game as you try and survive and either get attacked, attack, or team up with other people you meet in your journey. I definitely recommend anyone who likes Zombies games to check it out.

3 Zombies
Walkers: walk around till they see you then run in Z's at you
Hopper: does what the name says crouched hopping
Crawler: slow but an the floor crawling around
Zombies will ONLY spawn near or in buildings
also saw an article on it over at Kotaku about Day-Z increaseing the Sales of Arma 2 fivefold from how they were before Day Z's Alpha release! (link to article:http://kotaku.com/5910279/pc-zombie-dar ... py-to-help)

Ya it blew Arma 2 sales through the roof making it near the top of Steam's most played online games at any given time. I've been playing it for a bit now and the game gets intense. The other day me and my brother were trying to decide wether or not to ambush 3 guys in a town because they had better stuff then us that we could see. Decision wasn't easy because we had poor line of sight and there were zombies around that we knew were going to come at us when we opened fire. We ended up picking them off and getting some really nice stuff but man was it an intense firefight and as I was looting the bodies a shot cracked into the wall next to me making me scramble from cover. Turned out another guy was also thinking the same thing we were and tried to take us both out. Thankfully his aim sucked.

The game is tons of fun, requires some patience though, but well worth checking out if you have the time, the $30 bucks required, and a computer that can play it.

Zombies or not, MMO's that allow greifing to that level do not interest me.

It's not an MMO actually, but more of a FPS type game. It adds that real survival can't trust anyone feel to the game that sadly you can't get with games that don't let players attack one another.
