transport of choice
Guys, I know this is an out-of-the-blue topic but based on watching too many zombie apocalyptic movies (if ever this one would happen in real life) what would be your transport of choice?

Feet + bicycle.
Simple, can carry a decent amount of weight, should be fast enough, silent, do not require specific resources and minimal maintenance, flexibility of motion, can't get bogged down, easy to conceal.

LOL A Tank! But if the Zombie apocalypse happened I would be wishing I had built that Bomb-shelter with years of food in it.

Left 4 Dead reference Grendle? It's been a while since I've played either 1 or 2.

Those are some of my favorite games, and I played them on the Xbox, which shows you how much I got into them even without the kick ass user created content. If I am ever able to get a gaming computer, that is one thing I'm playing on just so I can finally go through "I HATE MOUNTAINS!" and "City 17".Chaosmob wrote:Left 4 Dead reference Grendle? Oh I have both on PC and haven't played them in over a year, maybe I should reinstall them just to play the new content.

Modding communities keep games alive hell look at TES III Morrowind people are still making mods for that and playing them heck Valve Supports the people who mod games for the better by adding the Steam Workshop which makes it easier for the Modder to upload toGrendle1853 wrote:Those are some of my favorite games, and I played them on the Xbox, which shows you how much I got into them even without the kick ass user created content. Essentially .. seems to be the only thing that makes sense .. also if Zombieland taught me anything it is the importance of cardioMTVCCVC wrote:Feet + bicycle.

Well, if the Japanese can take Singapore on bicycles, zombies should be a walk in the park.Phantomstranger wrote:Essentially .. seems to be the only thing that makes sense .. also if Zombieland taught me anything it is the importance of cardioMTVCCVC wrote:Feet + bicycle.

Re: transport of choice
As for me, I've always been fascinated by the backhoe. Maybe a medium sized one. Runs on diesel (can be substituted with cooking oil), heavy enough to be tipped over, uses track pad like a tank which can run over zombies with ease (well, the George Romero kind anyways
) plus the cool swinging arm mounted on a turret that can rotate 360 degrees to fend those pesky zombies.
Maybe some reinforcements on the cockpit to make it zombie proof. Although not designed for speed but purpose like a decoy to distract and attract their attention so that the convoy could gather resources. Unfortunately should I act as decoy, I would be breaking rule #17 of Zombieland.
