Ugh, I can deal with it, even though honestly I'm not a fan of the change. Maybe the acting will be amazing, but I have doubts. So far, the 3-D animated movies have been tolerable.

I can't with this shit. Even with the characters they didn't race swap, they refused to even do the hair correctly. Make some fucking effort to have your actors look like the damn characters!

No, that movie is going to theaters. The the only thing they've showed about the live action Netflix show is that Albert Wesker is a black bald man (good actor but horribly miss cast) and the rest of the cast looks to be young thin women of various ethnic backgrounds.
I finally got around to watching the animated Resident Evil show on Netflix, and so far that one is surprisingly good. I'm guessing it was done by the same people who did the animated movies and Netflix had almost no involvement in it.
