Creepshow the Series
So, Shudder has come out with Creepshow the series, and it's safe to say that it captures the magic of the first two movies perfectly. The new Creep is amazing, the puppet, when you see it, is fantastic, and the switch to comicbook animation is a nice touch. The stories have certainly been the same level as the original Creepshow, but they've mixed in some Tales from the Crypt as well. All in all, it's a fantastic series that really has the EC Comicbook feel to it. Eight out of ten stars.

Re: Creepshow the Series
I think I saw the first two seasons of this when I had shudder awhile ago. It was pretty good. "Head House" was my favorite episode.Lordfrieza wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 2:53 pmSo, Shudder has come out with Creepshow the series, and it's safe to say that it captures the magic of the first two movies perfectly. Re: Creepshow the Series
Season 3 has firmly cemented this as one of the best horror anthology series to date. I am including Tales from the Darkside in this. Creepshow has went above, and beyond, what was expected. They've reached back and brought out that EG horror that the original Creepshow had in spades. It's an amazing series, and the feel of it is just incredible. Plus the animated episode was just glorious. I believe this is an unbelievable ten out of ten.

At some point I need to get Shudder again and catch up. I think I watched the first two seasons, and from I remember it was a little hit and miss for me, but overall I found it to be a show worth watching.Lordfrieza wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 1:01 pmSeason 3 has firmly cemented this as one of the best horror anthology series to date. Re: Creepshow the Series
I don't know, I watched the first few episodes of season three and wasn't impressed at all. Very cheaply made and they're much better horror anthologies. I don't know if S1-2 are any better.
