I just thought we should have a place where anyone can ask any questions or ask for opinions on stuff that they're working on.
This is that place.

Re: Questions
Hi Guys, I figured this would be the place to ask something. Being that Tahle-Con (The Comic Con that is close enough to my home town, actually in it really) is the only comic con I can afford to go to I'm seriously considering doing a little Cosplay. More than likely I'm going to be the only one, but hey, maybe it'll catch on. Being my 'figure' is what it is I've got a few thoughts of what to go as, and to be honest I actually made my decision. I'm going to try to put together a Harold 'Coop' Cooplowski costume from Megas XLR. It's not going to be that hard since Coop basically looks like this.

The hardest part is going to be doing the belt buckle. I've searched online and it doesn't exist. I did find where someone made one using cardboard, foil, and markers. It looked decent, so I guess my question is what would be the best way of doing the belt buckle? would it be drawing the design on a piece of cardboard, cutting them out, and then pasting them on another piece of cardboard then covering it with foil? What would you guys suggest.
Thanks
LF

Re: Questions
Personally I wouldn't suggest doing the final product in cardboard. While I've never seen this version you're mentioning I've found craft foam to be a much easier and forgiving substance to work with. I did my whole Bat-belt of it and I know that (I'm blanking on the name but does cosplay and posted photos on here) did a wonder girl belt buckle out of craft foam as well.

I think that I will use the craft foam. I will build the first version out of or rather the design out of it, and then use the craft foam.
