Naturally I'm sad. I absolutely adored Batman the Animated Series, Loved Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, and to find out that the soul of Batman has passed hurts my heart. I say the soul of Batman because it's true. Kevin Conroy really was the soul of the caped crusader. He was an amazing individual that brought a real humanizing aspect to Batman, and that unfortunately is something that a lot of other actors, and voice actors, haven't been able to do. In my eye there are two individuals that are truly part of Batman. Kevin Conroy and Michael Keaton. Out of the two Kevin Conroy truly made me understand how flawed Bruce Wayne was, and how hard he worked to ensure that no other eight year old would lose their parents to some punk with a gun.

Kevin, thank you for helping Batman guard Gotham for all these years.

Man, what a shock. Kevin Conroy is legit one of those people I thought would be around forever, for him to pass away at 66 is something I never would've even considered. Cancer is a bitch. Rest in peace, One True Batman.
