I like this one for Bruce and Diana. I can see Bruce feeling this way.
Chances

Five for Fighting

Chances are when said and done
Who'll be the lucky ones who make it all the way?
Though you say I could be your answer
Nothing lasts forever no matter how it feels today
Chances are we'll find a new equation
Chances roll away from me
Chances are all they hope to be
Don't get me wrong I'd never say never
'Cause though love can change the weather
No act of God can pull me away from you
I'm just a realistic man, a bottle filled with shells and sand
Afraid to love beyond what I can lose when it comes to you
And though I see us through, yeah
Chances are we'll find two destinations
Chances roll away from me
Still chances are more than expectations
The possibilities over me
It's a fight with two to one, lay your money on the sun
Until you crash what have you done, is there a better bet than love?
What you are is what you breathe, you gotta cry before you sing
Chances
Chances
Chances lost are hope's torn up pages
Maybe this time
Chances are we'll be the combination
Chances come and carry me
Chances are waiting to be taken, and I can see
Chances are the fascinations
Chances won't escape from me
Chances are only what we make them and all I need

Grossly underrated song, sums up Dianas and Bruces struggles with these DC fools lol.
I did a little research, and apparently the animation was originally intended for a different song. But I think this one is in fact better. It seems more fitting to me.

So this came up on my Spotify recommendations. It's Spanish so I don't understand it, but the beat was compelling enough that I looked up the translation.

You know one of those songs that sometimes hit you like a truck? Well, this song did for me. You know that scene where Bruce and Diana meet at a formal function/bar/classy party or whatever, the JLA episode that launched a thousand fanfics, the moment that plays out in a hundred different ways in a hundred different stories across a hundred alternate universes. Their gazes meet. Irrevocably drawn to each other. Magnets. He smiles mischievously, her eyes twinkle in return, and he pulls her into a dance.

You know AD I've never notice until you pointed it out but you're so spot on here. It's like one half of the song is Bruce the other is Diana.

Makes me think Daddy Yankee is a WonderBat shipper.

Totally, right? :) Seems Like Everyone's a Fan of Wonderbat™

The end of Feb 2017 pop songs seem to be on a roll with Wonderbat. Coldplay/Chainsmokers Something Just Like This perfectly sums up what I believe is Diana's answer to SMWW vs BMWW.
She said "Where'd you wanna go?
How much you wanna risk?
I'm not looking for somebody
With some superhuman gifts
Some superhero
Some fairytale bliss
Just something I can turn to
Somebody I can kiss"
Take that SMWW. :P

Can also be interpreted that who she truly wants is the man behind the cowl, not his superhero persona.

Every time I hear this song on the radio, I always think of Bruce & Diana. This is so Bruce...ok, not the first paragraph, but the rest is him! I just want to hug our Bruce, but I'll happily let Diana take care of that for us! :D

If I Told You
Darius Rucker

What if I told you about my little nothing town
The two room house where I came from
The man that I got my name from
I don't even know where he is now

What if I told you sometimes I lose my faith?
I wonder why someone like you would even talk to me
What if I told you there's no fixing me
Cause everybody's already tried

Would you stay? Would you leave?
I could wait, it'll all come out eventually

If I told you all the stupid things I've done
I'd blamed on being young
But I was old enough to know, I know
If I told you the mess that I can be
When there's no one there to see
Would you look the other way, cause you love me anyway?

What if I told you I don't plan on staying here?
My dreams are a million miles away
And I know your family's gonna want you to stay
You know what? I don't blame them

So I'll say what I don't want to
And I'll just pray you want what I do

If I told you all the stupid things I've done
I'd blamed on being young
But I was old enough to know, I know
If I told you the mess that I can be
When there's no one there to see
Could you look the other way cause you love me anyway?
Cause you love me anyway

So before we go any further here
Better we turn into another year
There's some things you probably don't want to hear
But you have to

If I told you sometimes I get jealous
Sometimes I'm half crazy
Would you say the hell with me, the hell with me?
If I told you I barely know what love is
But girl, if that's what this I don't want to let it slip away
Could you love me anyway, please?
Could you love me anyway? [x3]

A song that always reminds me of Wonderbat is The Steven Universe Ending theme I don't know why but it just kinda does maybe its the lyrics or the voice of the artist
If I could begin to be
Half of what you think of me,
I could do about anything,
I could even learn how to love(like you)

Obviously describing how how Bruce views Diana; I think one of the reasons Bruce loves Diana is because of how he views her especially in relation to the other heroes and the larger world. I wouldn't say he puts her on a pedestal but he does respect her and her mission a lot reminds me of what he said to her in Gods of Gotham; " When you died all those months ago I found myself worried that the one person that could lead the heroes of today to see that dream fulfilled was gone... ".

But at the same time I feel it describe how Diana views Bruce and his faith in her, One think I always like about Diana is that she isn't vain and full of her self, confident yes but never conceited. So the fact that some one has that much faith in her is very much appreciated and I think on the flip side Diana know the truth about Batman and why he does what he does so at the same time she also have a lot of respect for him and his dive and mission reminds me of Amanda Waller's speech to Terry about Batman in the Justice League Prologue episode; " For all that fierce exterior I have never meet anyone who care deeply about his fellow man as much as Bruce Wayne ".

So basically the lyrics works both ways as a Love letter to Diana from Bruce but also as Diana's thoughts about Bruce, Pretty cool is you ask me.

This song is literally the definition of WonderBat.

Like it should be the ships anthem.

I remember my daughter singing Pearl's song for Rose Quartz and I was reminded of Wonderbat too. Steven Universe has great songs

Then again, I think any song that remotely has anything to do with anything else will remind me of Wonderbat. Because there is such a thing as shipper bias.

Link is broken :( (P.S. Ddlo, I'll get to your fanart on a long weekend. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten.)

I've been stealth-updating my Tangent Space story and this ought to be my fic's theme. Because, y'know, I turned them all freakin' immortal there, Wonderbat will literally love each other until the sun dies.

When you have shipping goggles, every other song becomes about Wonderbat.

Lyrics snippet:
Spoiler: Show
We met I was assured
That you were something worth
Displacing time and mind

So I flew to you to see
If love was in-between
Instead of boundary lines

But it's something you can't see
It moves without command
And it takes over your words
It pleads to start again
But I can't go back to you
Your lies dissuade your truth
I suppose the lyrics apply more to Diana's side. I am reminded of so many great Wonderbat fics where the two of them go on missions together, have good chemistry, find love or something, only for it to end with a breakup because Batsy can't give up the night. ARRGH GIVE ME HAPPY ENDINGS PLEASE! Still great stories tho.

Stopping by to offer 'Foreigner's God' by Hozier, try not to think of the DCEU versions of Bruce and Diana while listening to it

It occurs to me that the lyrics to "Hellraiser" kind of describe important aspects of both Batman and Wonder Woman's characters that they share, and that a lot of modern writers and especially those who make the adaptations often miss.
Spoiler: Show
I'm living on an endless road
Around the world for rock 'n' roll
Sometimes, it feels so tough
But I still ain't had enough
I keep saying that it's getting too much
But I know I'm a liar
Feeling alright in the noise and the light
But that's what lights my fire
Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, rock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you
Walking out on another stage
Another town, another place
Sometimes, I don't feel right
Nerves wound up too damn tight
People keep telling me it's bad for my health
But kicking back don't make it
Out of control, I play the ultimate role
But that's what lights my fire
Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, rock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you
I'm living on an endless road
Around the world for rock 'n' roll
Sometimes, it feels so tough
But I still ain't had enough
Feeling alright in the noise and the light
But that's what lights my fire
Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, rock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you
