Phantasm movie sequel

So y'all think the BatmanTAS team could ever get back together and make a sequel based off this B&R annual in movie form? It probably isn't necessary because not a lot happens, but I'd love to see my girl again. At least make it a 30 minute special.

Unfortunately, the sequel is basically whats Tom King doing atm with his Batman/Catwoman comic. Doubt DC would want to do another one.

Yeah. I wouldn't listen to that idiot and I don't want this to happen. I mean it already did with New Adventures and Beyond. So what the hell's he talking about? Pretty sure the style in which it was animated wouldn't be the same.

I'd love it if they could do another story with the Phantasm and make it good, but after the 13th Doctor and the Last Jedi I've seen what happens when hacks take gold and convert it into crap. So if they get the right people, ones with talent who care about the original story, then I'd be all up for it. I just don't want to see what happened to the other franchises I grew up with and loved happen to the DCAU.

Yeah, I don’t want to risk the DCAU have the same treatment as other reboot series too. A Phantasm continuation (w/o Tom King ofc) would be interesting though, but I would prefer it if the next big DCAU project would explore a different facet of the world (e.g. Hawkgirl)

Yeah I can't believe they've never tried to do Hawkgirl like they did in the DCAU. It's like they are allergic to money and success.

Well, they have to create a character from scratch rather than starting out with a good one already. We´ll see if they pull it off.

I heard that Azrael has appeared in the Batman:The Adventure Continues comics or something like that. Maybe he would be interesting to have as a comic adaptation in the DCAU show/movie, but I’m not sure

I am confused Did they announce a new DCAU show/movie? Anyway, I guess doing an Azrael story would be interesting. Alltough he is not one of my favourites. He was okay in Batman: The Adventures Continue. Just like their take on Deathstroke. By the way... when will they continue that comic? I think a new issue hasn´t come out in a while and I really enjoyed them so far. Much better than Tom King Batman

Unfortunately, no, no new DCAU project that we know of yet - but that shouldn’t stop us of dreaming

I haven’t read a DCAU comic, but I heard cool things about the guy.
